Hestia is the ancient Olympian Goddess of the hearth and home. She is thought of as the center of the home, the community, the town, and the city. No meal could be eaten without her, for she is the very fire that transforms the ingredients into nourishment. She is one of my favorites. After I clean my kitchen counters I rub them with a little clearly sage oil and ask Hestia to bless my home.
Hestia is here today to tell you it's time to shift some more energy to your home life. Are you working to hard at making a living that you can't enjoy your hearth? Your home is where you can recharge your energy, a place for you relax and be yourself. Take some time today to tidy up your place and burn some sage to cleanse the emotional space. If you have a fire place light a fire, or a candle will do, and welcome Hestia into your home.
